Penelope Love

Dr Love works as a Research Fellow with Queensland University of Technology (School of Exercise and Nutrition Sciences) and Deakin University (Global Obesity Centre and IPAN). Her current research focuses on community-wide obesity prevention and management through diffusion of innovation and implementation science, with a specific interest in remote and rural communities. Key research topics include infant nutrition, food based dietary guidelines, food security, and the measurement of the food supply. Dr Love is an accredited practising dietitian with extensive experience spanning policy, practice and research. She has worked as a public health nutrition practitioner in a range of contexts in urban, rural and remote areas, and is the national co-convener for the Public Health and Community Nutrition Interest Group of the Dietitians Association of Australia.
