Lennert Veerman
Dr Lennert Veerman is Professor of Public Health at Griffith University, School of Medicine and Dentistry. He is a Dutch-trained public health physician with passion for healthy physical, economic, social and natural environments. He gives direction to a programme of work in physical activity, diet, and body mass. His current interests include the potential health and economic impact of taxing sugared drinks in countries around the world and the economic value of the health benefits of active transport (walking, cycling).
